       Yao Mingwu, pseudonym Mingwu, male, Han nationality, native of Sichuan, was born in October 1964, with a double doctor's degree. Famous calligrapher and painter, collector, international art exchange activist, visiting professor of the Academy of Fine Arts of Tsinghua University, honorary chairman of the International Federation of Literary and Artistic Sessions, national first-class calligrapher, winner of the Baidu Calligraphy and Painting Collection Elite Award, and Zhai Chongwu Hall.

       He has loved painting and calligraphy since childhood, has conducted in-depth study and research on modern and contemporary art masters such as Zhang Daqian, Qi Baishi, Li Keran, and so on. He has carefully appreciated many ancient famous works handed down from generation to generation, followed them by hand, and protected and collected countless authentic works of art. He is a strong and persistent artist full of major cultural plots. He once made friends with Huang Yongqing (Yuanqing), the founder of the Chinese ink painting mastiff, and became a good friend. He had a very close relationship and got his points. He benefited a lot from the performance techniques and concepts of the Tibetan mastiff. His paintings of the Tibetan mastiff are very comparable with those of Yuanqing.
