Sulin was born in 1948 in Baoji, Shaanxi. I currently reside in Beijing. Visiting Professor at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Honorary Chairman of the International Federation of Literature and Art, and Honorary Chairman of the China Cultural Industry Strategy Association. Member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association; Member of the Chinese Artists Association. Member of the Chinese Couplet Association. Lifetime academician of the Chinese General Minister Calligraphy and Painting Academy, a people's calligrapher and painter, and a national ceremony artist. In 2023, Su Lin was awarded the title of "Model Figure of Art in China" by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China. He was also awarded the plaque of Chinese art master Su Lin Studio and the title of "Time Benchmark". He has been included in the national "Celebrity Dictionary" database.
