BRICS Artist - Ye Nongcunn

Ye Xiangcun was born in 1954 in Jiaolu Village, Pinghe Luxi, Zhangzhou, Fujian. I am currently the Vice President of the Ye Clan Council in Pinghe County, the Director of the Shengwu Building in Luxi, the Director of the Lushuiyan Management Committee in Luxi, a national first-class calligrapher, a CCTV art inheritor, an artist recommended by the Cultural Expo, and an outstanding artistic envoy for international cultural exchange. He has been studying since he was young and enjoys calligraphy and writing. Whenever he sees beautiful characters, he learns and practices them. After graduating from Luxi High School, I wrote big characters on the walls, slogans, posted wax engraved characters for public announcements, wrote invitations, participated in red and white celebrations in the community, and helped the people write Spring Festival couplets year after year. I was loved and praised by the people. Enthusiastic about social welfare, in 1984, the villagers recommended him as a director of the Lushuiyan Management Committee in Luxi. Before, when crossing the river to Shengwu Tower, there was no bridge, only a few small wooden boards, which were washed away when the water rose slightly on rainy days. The child often falls into the river while passing by to school. In 1996, he led the masses to build a bridge and wrote an application to the government for support. It was completed in 1998, making transportation and transportation convenient and safe ever since. In 2011, he was elected as the Chairman of Lushuiyan in Luxi and the Executive Director (Film Director) of Pinghe Taoist Association. In just ten years, Bishuiyan has been transformed into a beautiful tourist attraction in Luxi, and the construction of Lushan Academy has been restored, spreading ethnic culture, improving the cultural quality of the whole people, and contributing to the cultivation of talents.

In 2001, Shengwu Tower was rated as the fifth batch of key cultural relics protection units in China by the state. In 2012, the tourist attractions were developed and the Earthen Building in Fujian Province Shengwu Tower Tourism Investment Co., Ltd. was established. He also served as the head of Shengwu Tower. He often served tourists from all over the country and at home and abroad to explain the historical and cultural features of the ancient buildings of Shengwu Tower (ancestral industry), promote the Chinese national culture, and present calligraphy works to tourists. Tourists were amazed and highly praised. Ye Rural has been fond of practicing calligraphy since childhood, drawing on numerous branches and techniques, dedicating herself to learning and accumulating writing skills. She has made great progress in calligraphy and has been praised by scholars from all walks of life. In 2015, she joined the Pinghe Calligraphy Association as a member, and in 2017, she became a member of the Zhangzhou Calligraphers Association and the Pinghe Folk Literature and Art Association. The Social Art Level Examination Center of the Chinese Calligraphers Association obtained a Level 10 certificate, and in 2018, she became a director of the Pinghe County Calligraphers Association. Ye's rural calligraphy works have been published and reported in media such as People's Daily's Haixi album. To contribute to the promotion of Chinese national art and culture, as well as historical and traditional culture.

Ye Rural enthusiastically supports the Ye family's public welfare cause, actively participates in various activities of the Ye family, takes the lead in leading Zongxian to donate money to support public welfare, and enjoys a high reputation in his hometown. He works silently and diligently, making contributions to promoting social harmony and socio-economic development!
