Wu Tiejun, male, born in 1956. He is a Level 10 artist in the social examination, a professional member of the Elephant Painting and Calligraphy Academy, and a member of the Chinese Women's Painting and Calligraphy Academy.
Influenced by my mother, I have had a passion for traditional Chinese painting since childhood. My mother was a highly talented student at a girls' school before the liberation and was able to write, draw, and embroider. With the guidance of my mother, I entered the art world and later started working. I mainly relied on self-study and initially mastered some painting skills. I have participated in calligraphy and painting exhibitions of the provincial geological system multiple times, and my works such as "Song of a Geological Team Member" and "Mountain Drilling Tower" have won the Excellent Works Award. However, I did not continue to engage in painting creation due to the lack of painting time when I went into business. Until the outbreak of the epidemic in 2020, I was confined at home and had nothing to do. With the opportunity and time to pick up my paintbrush again, I started learning and creating traditional Chinese painting. During this time, I signed up for the fine and master classes of Jixiang Painting Academy for further study. I was fortunate enough to become a disciple of Chinese painting masters Li Shubao and Yu Wanfu, and under the guidance of these two masters, I studied and created under their guidance. Due to my excellent academic performance, I obtained the mentorship certificates of Li Shubao and Yu Wanfu, became a member of the Jixiang Painting Academy Professional Association, and created many excellent works.
