Born in 1954, of Shandong origin, he is a legendary cross-border calligraphy and painting artist. The current Vice Chairman of the Hong Kong Artists Association and Vice President of the Hong Kong Golden Bauhinia Calligraphy and Painting Academy, as well as a Senior Craft Artist. His life spans across the fields of sports, architecture, business, and ink painting art.
Art and Honor Achievements
Copying and Creation: Deeply cultivating traditional landscape painting. His work "Lin Fankuan's Early Spring Painting" (silk ink wash) won the gold medal in the 5th Golden Bauhinia Cup Chinese Painting Copying Competition (Landscape Painting) in 2026

Academic Achievements: Formerly served as a visiting scholar for further studies at the Freehand Painting Academy of the Chinese Academy of Art. Proficient in drawing inspiration from ancient masters such as Guo Xi and Fan Kuan of the Northern Song Dynasty, creating an ideal artistic conception of "feasible, desirable, touristic, and livable" in landscape painting.
Educational Contribution: Long term promotion of calligraphy and painting education in Hong Kong, jointly selected as an excellent art mentor by the Hong Kong Calligraphy and Painting Art Mentors Association and Art Hong Kong.
Art exchange between Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and mainland China
Cross Strait university mentor exchange: As a core member of the Shenzhen Hong Kong Macao Taiwan exchange delegation, I was invited to participate in the 4th Cross Strait University Art Mentor Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition held in Qufu, Shandong, and jointly conducted a Confucian cultural theme sketching survey with artists from both sides of the Taiwan Strait.
