Member of Wang Jiping International Art Federation

       Wang Jiping was born in Taitou Town, Jinghai County, Tianjin in 1953. He has been fond of painting since childhood. In 1967, he studied traditional Chinese painting under the guidance of the master comic artist Hao Junxian. After being introduced by his teacher, he went to Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts to further his studies under the guidance of amateur teachers such as Bai Gengyan. His works have won awards in various provinces and cities. The work was selected for the 9th and 10th National Fine Arts Exhibition Excellent Works Exhibition. The work has been collected by the Central Museum of Culture and History and foreign collectors, and is awarded the honorary title of National First Class Artist and People's Artist of both virtue and art. It is a member of the Beijing China Calligraphy and Painting Association and a director of the Tianjin Jinghai County Artists Association.
