Fan Zeng (1938.7.5-), with the character "Ten Wings", was a contemporary Chinese scholar, thinker, master of traditional Chinese culture, master of calligraphy and painting, writer, political and diplomatic figure, and poet. He is currently a Chair Professor at Peking University, Honorary Dean of the Chinese Academy of Painting, Lifetime Professor, Lifetime Managing Director, and Doctoral Supervisor of the Chinese Academy of Arts and History at Nankai University, Lifetime Researcher and Doctoral Supervisor of the Chinese Academy of Arts, Honorary Dean of the Chinese Academy of Painting and Calligraphy at the National Museum, Special Advisor on Multicultural Issues at UNESCO, Advisor and Ambassador for International Communication of Chinese Culture, and Distinguished Professor of National Defense University and School of Foreign Affairs, Honorary Doctor of Literature from the University of Glasgow in the UK and the University of Alberta in Canada, and tenured professor at Jinan University and Nantong University. Received the Order of Knight of the French Legion of Honor, the Order of General of the Italian Republic, the President of the International Olympic Committee trophy, multiple titles of "Honorary Tax Model", and the Lifetime Achievement Award of the Chinese Arts and Culture Award.

It is a renowned academic figure both at home and abroad who is proficient in poetry, calligraphy, painting, literature, history, philosophy, Confucianism, Buddhism, Taoism, and philosophy, as well as has a wide range of knowledge in both China and the West. It has published over 200 art books and literary theories, with 157 of them collected by the National Library. In 1984, the Fan Zeng Art Museum in Okayama, Japan was established; In 1986, donated to build the Oriental Art Building of Nankai University; In 2012, Shandong University established "Fan Zengli"; In 2014, the Fan Zeng Art Museum of Nantong University was completed. According to Rong Baozhai's estimation, over the past few decades, Mr. Shi has donated over 6 billion yuan worth of calligraphy and painting works from various parts of the country, and has been named one of the "Top Ten Chinese Philanthropists".
