Li Guoliang, born in 1965 in Shijijiazi Manchu Town, Gongzhuling City, Jilin Province, joined the military in 1980 and has been engaged in oil painting for more than 40 years. He is skilled in innovation and draws on the strengths of traditional oil painting art, borrowing the essence of Chinese and Western oil painting. Through years of oil painting creation, he has developed and achieved gratifying results. The work is free and easy to use, with a strong innovative atmosphere of the times. I have received guidance from renowned Chinese painter Chen Yifei on my artistic journey. The work has won numerous awards in provincial and municipal competitions. Multiple works have been collected by well-known figures at home and abroad. Over the years, we have trained nearly a thousand professors and students. And participated in public welfare activities multiple times.

In 2005, he participated in the National Sports Art Exhibition at the Capital Museum. 

In 2005, he participated in the graduation exhibition of the graduate class at the School of Fine Arts of Tsinghua University at the Exhibition Hall of Tsinghua Academy of Fine Arts.

In 2008, Oita participated in the Asian Art Exhibition in Japan. 

In 2011, the artwork participated in the BESETO Art Festival Invitation Exhibition in Seoul, South Korea.

In 2011, he participated in the 16th Asian Games Contemporary Art Exhibition in Guangzhou, Guangdong. 

In 2012, participated in the National Art Exhibition and the 12th Military Art Exhibition at the National Art Museum of China.

In 2014, the work participated in the Asian Art Expo at the Beijing International Trade Center.

The oil paintings from 2015 were selected for the 4th China Spirit Oil Painting Exhibition in 2015 (National Oil Painting Academy of China, Tianjin Art Museum, Shandong Art Museum, Shanghai Art Museum, Xi'an Art Museum National Tour Exhibition).

In 2018, his oil paintings were selected for the 2018 China Spirit -4th China Oil Painting Exhibition in Beijing (China Art Museum).

In 2020, the artwork participated in the Art Distance - Overseas Chinese Artists Association 2020 Online International Exhibition.

In 2021, a personal boutique oil painting exhibition was successfully held in the 798 Art District of Beijing.

Awards:

In 1991, he won the second prize in the Vimy Cup National Painting and Calligraphy Grand Prix.

In 1993, he won the gold medal in the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Competition.

In 1999, his oil paintings won the first prize at the Guangdong Provincial Art Exhibition to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Macau's return.

In 2001, his oil paintings won the bronze prize (Guangdong Art Museum) in the "Guangdong Art Exhibition to Celebrate the 80th Anniversary of the Founding of the CPC".

In 2003, he participated in the second Blue Space Theme International Exhibition at the Beijing Ocean Museum and won the Top Ten Creative Awards.

In 2005, he participated in the third China Quyang International Sculpture Invitation Competition in Jilin City and won the first prize.

In 2008, he participated in the Beijing 2008 Olympic Landscape Calligraphy and Painting Competition International Tour Exhibition and won a gold medal.

2009 Auckland City Cultural Contribution Award, New Zealand.

In 2011, his oil paintings won the Outstanding Award for Major Historical Themes in Guangdong Province (Guangdong Art Museum).

The second prize of the first Yaxiang Cup National Calligraphy and Painting Competition in 2023. 

In 2023, Li Guoliang was awarded the title of "Famous Artist and Meritorious Artist of the Generation" by the Academic Committee of the Chinese and Foreign Celebrity Culture Research Association of the Chinese Federation of Literary and Art Circles.

In 2023, the work participated in the Carousel Hall exhibition at the Louvre in Paris, France, and was awarded the Special Contribution Award at the 2023 International Art Co Creation Exhibition.
