Steve McCurry (1950-) was an American photographer who joined Magnum Pictures in 1986. He was once world-famous for "Afghanistan Girl", and his series of photos won the "Robert Kappa Gold Award for Best Photography". He often traveled around the world, and also shot Xizang for National Geographic.
Like Bresson, Steve McKinley is also a truly strict master. In the past, I used to use 800 to 1000 rolls of film for each shot, of which only 20 to 25 were actually used. His photos always showed the moment when the story was about to happen, with exceptionally unique lighting and color effects. For me, the most important characteristic of a work is its independence. With just one photo, it can bring you a story。
