BRICS artist Hao Guosheng

Name: Hao Guosheng, courtesy name: Bond, Dharma name: Yangsheng, Studio name: Foyuan Pavilion. Ancestral origin: Heze, Shandong. I currently reside in Chaoyang District, Beijing. Hao Guosheng has loved calligraphy since childhood, especially running script and clerical script. He has conducted some research on oracle bone script, bronze script, seal script, and Han bamboo slips. In 2001, under the guidance of his mentor Liu Bingsen, Hao Guosheng had a deep connection with Buddhism since childhood. In 2004, he converted to the President of the Chinese Buddhist Association. Under Master Yicheng, the president of the Lifetime Honorary Association, Master Yicheng often taught his disciple Hao Guosheng about Buddhism and calligraphy. Later, he grew old with the Putuo Mountain Path, and the Mount Wutai Elder Meng Shen: the president of the Chinese Buddhist Association, and Master Fang Zhan Yanjue of Guangji Temple exchanged calligraphy experience for many times, which was more carefully taught by eminent monks. Hao Guosheng meticulously studied the strengths of various families, and ultimately made unremitting efforts to achieve today's small achievements. Hao Guosheng's calligraphy and painting works are characterized by outstanding features, strong antiquity, and give people a refreshing feeling. I have participated in numerous domestic and international calligraphy and painting exhibitions as well as various calligraphy and painting activities. I have participated in Buddhist charity auctions multiple times, donated money and materials to disaster areas and elderly people, and made more efforts and acts of kindness to help those in need. In 2016, Hao Guosheng was elected as the President of the China Buddhist and Taoist Calligraphy and Painting Research Institute, a member of the Shandong Calligraphy Association, and the Vice President of the China Youth Strength Calligraphers and Painters Association; Vice President of Qilu Academy of Painting and Calligraphy; Ambassador for Image Promotion of China 21st Century Public Welfare Foundation, etc. Joined the Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association as a member in 2022.
