Zhou Zuoyong, male, courtesy name Jiudashan, also known as Yibi Qiankun, Zhuang nationality, born in June 1975, from Nanning, Guangxi. He graduated from Nanning Normal School with a major in art in 1995 and studied under teachers such as Xu Fei and Li Xin. His family is passed down from his uncle Zhou Hua, a world-renowned calligrapher and painter, professor at Guangxi University, and curator at Guangxi Museum of Culture and History. I studied at the School of Fine Arts, Tsinghua University from September 2014 to July 2015, under the guidance of mentors such as Han Mo. I am currently an academician of Beijing Huaxia Lanting Calligraphy and Painting Academy, a member of Guangxi Young Calligraphers and Painters Association, a member of China Calligraphers and Painters Association, the vice president of Beijing Daode Huigu Calligraphy and Painting Academy Guangxi Branch, and a national first-class calligrapher and painter evaluated by the Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Professional Qualification Evaluation Center. The calligraphy works have been collected by the Cultural Management Committee of Heihe City and people from all walks of life. The calligraphy works won the silver medal in the 6th National "China Dream Cup" Calligraphy and Painting Competition, and won the first prize in the 9th "Xizhi Cup" Contemporary Poetry and Calligraphy Painter Invitation Competition. The Chinese painting "Lotus with Deep Meaning" won an award and was selected for the "Hong Kong Commemorative Painting and Calligraphy Competition for the 150th Anniversary of Sun Yat sen's Birth". It also won the gold medal in the 22nd "Lushan Cup" Painting and Calligraphy Competition nationwide. The Chinese painting "Plum Blossoms, Orchids, Chrysanthemums, Bamboo" has been collected by the "Nanxiong Zhuji Yuzhang Friendship Association" and individuals.
In 2024, he was awarded the honorary title of Time Meritorious Artist and the inheritor of intangible cultural heritage.
