Wu Zheng was born in November 1966 in Shanghai, with his native place in Yixing, Jiangsu. My father is a professor of educational psychology. My mother is a middle school Chinese teacher. Grandfather Wu Kaisheng was a famous barrister in Shanghai during the Republic of China period. Wu Zheng studied at Fudan University and the University of Savoy in France, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Calvin Stockton College in the United States, a Master's degree in International Relations from the University of Washington, and a PhD in International Political Relations from Fudan University. Mr. Wu Zheng is the founder of Sunshine Media Investment Group and founded Hongyan Capital Group. He has been appointed as a visiting professor by Peking University, Tsinghua University, and Shanghai University, as well as a senior advisor to Hope Engineering and Peking University's China Center for Economic Research.
